LAS VEGAS -- Center fielder Steven Karkenny and first baseman Ricky Obando hit home runs, and Brett Voets (2-0) pitched three innings to carry the Chancellors over Las Vegas High, 14-3, tonight in the title game of the Las Vegas Durango tournament. The game was called after five innings.

 

Karkenny finished two for two and drove in two runs. Shortstop Brady Conlan had two doubles and drove in five runs, and right fielder Kevin Siegel and catcher Sean O'Connell each hit triples.

 

Obando had nine hits, including five doubles, a triple and a home run, and drove seven runs in the five-game tournament. Conlan had eight hits and drove in eight runs.
