<font color="#f26100">Chancellors Drop Granada Hills</font>

GRANADA HILLS -- Senior left fielder Oliver Padre hit two home runs, junior third baseman Matt Dominguez hit a two-run shot and senior right-hander Josh Ravin went the distance to help the Chancellors defeat the Highlanders, 7-0, Monday in a West Valley League game.
 
Ravin (4-1) gave up four hits and struck out 10 batters.
 
The Chancellors (10-1, 3-0 in league play) took a 2-0 lead in the third inning when junior designated hitter Mike Moustakas was hit by a pitch and Dominguez followed with a drive over the left-field fence, his third home run this season, all in the last five games. Padre followed with a shot to left field for his first homer this season to make the score 3-0.
 
Padre (pictured) put the Chancellors ahead, 6-0, with a three-run homer in the sixth inning and sophomore first baseman James Wharton had a run-scoring double in the seventh inning.
 
The Chancellors play host to the Highlanders (8-3, 2-1) on Thursday at 3 p.m.
 
JV wins, 14-1: Sophomore right-hander Trevor Takeyama (4-0) was backed up with a 12-hit attack in the Chancellors' five-inning victory over Granada Hills in a WVL game at Chatsworth.
 
Takeyama gave up two hits and struck out six. Sophomore Cameron Milstein pitched a scoreless inning.
 
Freshman third baseman Ryan Cooperstone had two doubles and a single for the Chancellors (7-2-1, 2-1), junior right fielder Luis Ramirez had two doubles, and sophomore outfielder Mike Hasenfus, junior second baseman Ryan Merrill and junior outfielder Jon Shields each had two hits.
 
The JV team plays at Granada Hills on Thursday at 3 p.m.
