The Chancellors (11-1, 4-0 in league play) continue West Valley League play Monday when they play host to Taft (4-8, 1-3) in a 3 p.m. game.

 

Senior right-hander Josh Ravin (4-1) will be on the mound for the Chancellors.

 

The Chancellors will travel to Woodland Hills on Thursday to take on the Toreadors at 3 p.m. They'll take a break Saturday from their tournament and travel the next day to play in the Las Vegas Durango tournament April 10-12.

 

Chancellors: They are coming off a sweep of Granada Hills in WVL play... Their 7-0 victory over the Highlanders on Monday was the fourth shutout victory this season and the second for Ravin... Senior left fielder Oliver Padre drove in four of the runs with a solo home run and a three-run shot. Junior third baseman Matt Dominguez had a two-run homer... In the Chancellors' 6-2 win over the Highlanders on Thursday, junior designated hitter Mike Moustakas had three hits, including a double, and junior right fielder Bobby Coyle also had a double. Senior right-hander Jonathan O'Leary and junior right-hander Trent Jones, who picked up the victory, had solid relief efforts... The Chancellors' game against San Fernando in the Chatsworth tournament was called off Saturday because of wet grounds.

 

Taft: The Toreadors are coming off a 4-2 victory over Birmingham in WVL play... Chatsworth holds a 76-6 lead in the series since 1980 and has won the last 22 meetings.
