<font color="#f26100">Chancellors Travel to El Camino Real</font>

Chatsworth and El Camino Real, the teams many expect will meet for the Los Angeles City Section championship this month at Dodger Stadium, square off Tuesday at 3 p.m. in Woodland Hills with the West Valley League title at stake.
 
The Chancellors play host to Birmingham on Thursday at 3 p.m. in the last regular-season game.
 
Regardless of the outcome Tuesday, Chatsworth and El Camino Real figure to be among the top-seeded teams for the City Section playoffs, which begin May 17 and conclude May 27. The playoff seedings will be determined Saturday.
 
Chancellors (25-2 overall, 12-1 in WVL play): They are coming off a shutout of Taft, the team's 11th, one shy of the school season record, set in 2003.
 
El Camino Real (23-4, 12-1): The Conquistadores are coming off a victory at Granada Hills.
 
Series with El Camino Real: The teams split two games this season, with the Conquistadores winning, 4-1, at El Camino Real on April 18 and the Chancellors winning, 9-5, in eight innings on a walk-off grand slam by junior third baseman Matt Dominguez (No. 3 in photo) on April 20... The Chancellors are 55-29 against El Camino Real from 1980 to the present.
 
Birmingham (11-13, 5-8): The Patriots pulled into a tie with Cleveland for third place after defeating the Cavaliers on Friday in eight innings. Chatsworth defeated the Patriots, 10-0 and 6-0, on April 24 and 27.

JV: The Chancellor JV team plays host to El Camino Real on Tuesday and plays at Birmingham on Thursday. Both games are at 3 p.m.
 
Frosh/Soph: The Chancellor frosh/soph team dropped two games at El Camino Real on Saturday, their first two games this season.
 
In a 9-8 loss in six innings in the first game, Jerry Lobert had two doubles and drove in two runs and Freddie Ramirez had two hits, including a double. Shawn MeusbornMichael Renner and Trevor Takeyama each had two hits.
 
In a 4-0 loss in the second game, Andrew Klausmeier had a double.
