LOS ANGELES -- Junior left-hander Troy Cassidy struck out 12 and gave up two hits in five innings, leading the Chancellors over host Franklin, 13-0, Tuesday in a first-round game of the Los Angeles City Section JV playoffs.

 

Sophomore center fielder Mike Hasenfus had four hits, including a triple, and stole four bases, junior right fielder Luis Ramirez had three hits and two runs batted in, and sophomore catcher Richard Palacios, sophomore left fielder Patrick O'Connell and freshman first baseman Michael Renner each had two hits for the Chancellors.
