PLACENTIA Ricky Obando, right, hit a grand slam and the Chancellors (14-3) beat Valley Christian, 11-8, today at Placentia El Dorado High in a game of the National Classic.

 

The Chancellors also got a solo home run from Kiefer Kofman and two runs batted in by Raul Camas. Left-hander Aaron Brown picked up the victory and right-hander Chris Schraut earned a save.

 

Chatsworth will play Alemany on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. at Cal State Fullerton for the consolation bracket championship.
