Chancellor junior shortstop Mike Moustakas has been selected the junior player of the year in California by Cal-Hi Sports.

 

Moustakas batted .427 with a school-record 14 home runs last season. He was the state sophomore of the year in 2005.

 

The left-handed-hitting slugger was selected Los Angeles City Section player of the year in 2006.
