The Chancellors will play as the home team and occupy the third base dugout when they meet San Fernando for the Los Angeles City Section Division I title Saturday at 2 p.m. at Dodger Stadium. General admission is $10, students with I.D. is $8 and children under 4 accompanied by an adult are free. Parking entrance is through Elysian Park/Sunset Boulevard gate. Parking is free.
TV: The game will be broadcast on KLCS on Sunday at noon, with veteran play-by-play announcer Randy Rosenbloom and L.A. Times columnist Eric Sondheimer behind the microphones.
ABOUT CHATSWORTH: The top-seeded Chancellors (24-5) are looking for their 10th City Section title, ninth under Coach Tom Meusborn, right, and seventh since 2001 … The 10 titles are a City Section record … Chatsworth made a record seven consecutive appearances in the championship game from 2003 to 2009 … The Chancellors are riding a 10-game winning streak in which they have outscored their opponents, 91-12 … They are aiming to reach at least 25 victories for 14 consecutive seasons … From 2000 to the present, the Chancellors have won 38 Division I playoff games, more than any other team ... Chatsworth is making its 17th appearance at Dodger Stadium since the City Section title games first were played at the venue in 1969, twice playing in the third-place game that is no longer contested ... Seniors Aaron Brown, Christian Lopez and Steven Karkenny are making their second appearance for Chatsworth in a City final. They were members of the 2009 championship team.
ABOUT SAN FERNANDO: The No. 6-seeded Tigers are 27-6 overall and finished in a tie with Granada Hills Kennedy for first place in the Valley Mission League with an 11-1 record.
