Keeping tabs of former Chancellors in the minor leagues...
Ryan Barba (Class of 2002): In 17 games with the West Virginia Power, the Milwaukee Brewers' Class-A affiliate in the South Atlantic League, the shortstop was batting .209 with nine runs batted in through Tuesday.
Willie Cabrera (Class of 2004): The former Chatsworth second baseman (pictured), now an outfielder with the Danville Braves of the rookie-level Appalachian League, was batting.305 with five home runs and 30 RBIs through Tuesday.
Justin Cassel (Class of 2003): The right-hander was 3-2 with a 2.97 earned-run average and 37 strikeouts in 39 innings with the Great Falls White Sox of the rookie-level Pioneer League. In his last start, on Saturday, Cassel struck out six in five innings and gave up two hits in Great Falls' 3-0 victory over the Helena Brewers.
Josh Ravin (Class of 2006): Through Tuesday, the right-hander was 0-1 with a 4.29 ERA for the rookie-level Gulf Coast League Reds, a Cincinnati affiliate. He was promoted Wednesday to Billings of the Pioneer League.
