First baseman Chris DeVito, top, had three singles and a double and drove in three runs, and shortstop Jared Holley, bottom, had two hits, including a double, and drove in a run in the Chancellors' 11-1 five-inning victory over Palmdale on Friday at Chatsworth in the season opener for the teams.
Second baseman Scott Voets had two hits, including a run-scoring double, and Jason Karkenny struck out seven and went the distance.
Holley had three hits, including a run-scoring double, in Chatsworth's 7-6 loss to West Ranch on Saturday.
The Chancellors led, 3-2, through five innings but West Ranch scored five runs in the sixth inning to take a 7-3 lead. Chatsworth scored three runs in the sixth inning.
Both games are part of the Easton tournament.
