Former Chancellor outfielder Oliver Padre will play for the University of Arizona after having excellent fall workouts that impressed the Wildcat coaching staff, Chatsworth Coach Tom Meusborn said.

 

Padre was an All-West Valley League selection in two of his three seasons on the varsity, including in 2006, when he batted .382 with eight home runs and 34 runs batted in. He also was a scholar-athlete.
