THIS WEEK: The Chancellors will try to remain undefeated when they travel to Calabasas today for a 3 p.m. Easton tournament game.
 
Chatsworth (2-0) is coming off a 5-0 victory at Saugus on Saturday.
 
Although the Chancellors have posted consecutive shutouts, they’re only halfway to matching last season’s start of four shutouts in a row, a team record for the start of a season.
 
The Chancellors also will play Thursday. The opponent and location of the game will be determined after today’s game.
 
ABOUT CALABASAS: The Marmonte League-member Coyotes defeated Ventura Buena, 12-5, Friday and Goleta Dos Pueblos, 15-4, Saturday.
 
SERIES VERSUS CALABASAS: Chatsworth is 1-2 against Calabasas since 1980. The teams have not met since March 11, 2000, when the Chancellors won, 9-5, at Chatsworth.
 
DIRECTIONS TO CALABASAS HIGH: From Chatsworth High, drive south on Topanga Canyon Boulevard. Turn right on Mulholland Drive. Turn left on Mulholland Highway. School is at 22855 Mulholland Hwy.
 
LAST WEEK’S RECAP: Senior right-hander Trent Jones got the Chancellors off on the right foot with a complete-game, 4-0 victory over Alemany at home on Friday. It was his sixth career shutout. Junior right-hander James Wharton pitched six scoreless innings in the victory over Saugus, and also hit a run-scoring triple. Senior shortstop Mike Moustakas (No. 11 in photo from a 2006 game) homered in each game, giving him a school-record 30 career home runs.
 
HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 107-5 at Chatsworth Ballpark, a .955 winning percentage. They are 1-0 in 2007.
