THIS WEEK: For the fifth consecutive year, the Chancellors will participate in the Las Vegas Durango High spring tournament, starting Monday with a 5 p.m. game against Kamehameha of Hawaii and an 8 p.m. game against Las Vegas Durango. Chatsworth will play Bakersfield Centennial on Tuesday at 5 p.m. All games are at Durango High. The Chancellors could play one or two games Wednesday at the same venue, depending on the outcome of the first three games.
 
ABOUT CHATSWORTH: The Chancellors (10-3) are coming off a 14-0 West Valley League home victory over Taft on Thursday.... The Chancellors continue on a torrid pace to challenge the school’s single-season record of 49 home runs, set in 2004. They now have 26, an average of two a game.
 
CHATSWORTH IN DURANGO TOURNAMENT: The Chancellors are 18-1 in the tournament.... They were 3-1 in 2003, 5-0 in 2004, 5-0 in 2005 and 5-0 in 2006.... They have a 16-game winning streak in the tournament.... Their only loss in the tournament was against Tucson Sabino, 3-0, in 2003. It was Chatsworth’s only loss that season on the way to the national title.
 
ABOUT KAMEHAMEHA: The Warriors are 15-7 overall. They play in the Interscholastic League of Honolulu.
 
SERIES VERSUS KAMEHAMEHA: The Chancellors and Warriors have never played.
 
ABOUT DURANGO: The Trailblazers are 10-5 overall.
 
SERIES VERSUS DURANGO: The Chancellors are 4-0 against the Trailblazers.... Chatsworth won, 11-0, in 2003; 6-3 in 2004; 5-4 in 2005; and 10-7 in 2006.
 
ABOUT BAKERSFIELD CENTENNIAL: The Golden Hawks are 14-1 overall.
 
SERIES VERSUS CENTENNIAL: The Chancellors are 4-0 against the Golden Hawks, all in the Durango tournament.... Chatsworth won, 6-4, in 2004; 11-4 in 2005; and 12-4 and 13-3 in 2006.
 
LAST WEEK’S RECAP: The Chancellors opened the week with a 5-0 West Valley League victory at Taft on Monday and beat Taft, 14-0, at home Thursday.
 
COACH TOM MEUSBORN: In his 18th season with the Chancellors, his record of 442-90-3 (.826 winning percentage) is the best ever in the state for a coach with 100 victories or more.
 
HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 110-7 at Chatsworth Ballpark, a .940 winning percentage. They are 4-2 in 2007.
 
ROAD WARRIORS: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 66-9 away from home, an .880 winning percentage. They are 4-1 in 2007.
 
SWITZERLAND FACTOR: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 42-5 on neutral fields, an .894 winning percentage. They are 2-0 in 2007.
 
CHANCELLORS VERSUS SOUTHERN SECTION: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 45-4 against schools from the section, a .918 winning percentage. They are 5-2 in 2007.
 
CHANCELLORS VERSUS OTHER SECTIONS: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 25-1 against schools from sections other than Los Angeles City Section and Southern Section. All of those results have come in the Las Vegas Bishop Gorman tournament (2000-02) and the Las Vegas Durango tournament (2003-06).
