THIS WEEK: The Chancellors resume West Valley League play with a home game against Granada Hills on Tuesday at 3 p.m. and a road game against Taft on Thursday at 3 p.m. Chatsworth does not play El Camino Real on Friday, as listed on the back cover of the media guide. That game will be played May 8 at Chatsworth. The game against Birmingham that was listed for May 8 will be played May 10 and the game against Cleveland that was listed for May 10 will be played May 15. ABOUT CHATSWORTH: The Chancellors (21-4 overall, 10-0 in WVL play) are coming off a 13-0 victory over Westchester on Saturday in the Chatsworth tournament ... The Chancellors are on their second eight-game winning streak this season … Chatsworth needs two victories to clinch at least a tie for its fifth consecutive WVL title and 26th overall … The Chancellors have hit 50 home runs, setting a school single-season record. The previous mark had been 49, in 2004 ... The Chancellors have reached 20 victories for 12 consecutive seasons and 15 times in Coach Tom Meusborn’s 18 seasons at the helm.
ABOUT GRANADA HILLS: The Highlanders 13-12 overall and in a two-way tie for fourth place with Birmingham in league play with a 3-7 record ... They are coming off a 5-4 nonleague loss to Cerritos Gahr on Saturday.
SERIES VERSUS GRANADA HILLS: Since 1980, the Chancellors area 48-11-1 against the Highlanders ... The Chancellors defeated Granada Hills, 11-1, on March 20 at Chatsworth and 22-0 on March 22 at Granada Hills.
ABOUT TAFT: The Toreadors are 10-15 overall and in last place in the WVL with a 1-9 record.
SERIES VERSUS TAFT: Since 1980, the Chancellors are 81-6 against the Toreadors … The Chancellors defeated Taft, 5-0, on March 26 at Woodland Hills and 14-0 on March 28 at Chatsworth.

COACH TOM MEUSBORN: In his 18th season with the Chancellors, his record of 453-91-3 (.845 winning percentage) is the best ever in the state for a coach with 100 victories or more.
HOME-FIELD ADVANTAGE: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 115-7 at Chatsworth Ballpark, a .943 winning percentage. They are 9-2 in 2007.
ROAD WARRIORS: Since 2000, the Chancellors are 69-9 away from home, an .885 winning percentage. They are 7-1 in 2007.
