<font color="#f26100">Chancellors Close Trip With Win</font>

LAS VEGAS — An 11-hit attack propelled the Chancellors to a 13-1 victory over San Diego Horizon today in a consolation game of the Las Vegas Durango tournament.
 
The Chancellors (8-3) finished the tournament with a 3-1 record. Chatsworth returns to the field Wednesday in a West Valley League opener against Taft at home at 3 p.m.
 
Junior left-hander Michael Renner (1-1) went the distance, giving up four hits and striking out five.
 
Renner was backed up by junior outfielder Andy Weissberg, whose two hits included a first-inning home run; junior third baseman Ryan Cooperstone, who had two singles and a triple; junior center fielder Andrew Klausmeier, who had two hits and two runs batted in; junior shortstop Kasey Toven, who had two hits and two stolen bases, and junior first baseman Shawn Meusborn, who had a hit and drove in a run.
