GRANADA HILLS -- Senior second baseman Shawn Meusborn (top right) hit a double and drove in two runs, junior left fielder Sean O'Connell (bottom right) had two hits and the Chancellors defeated host Granada Hills, 4-2, today in a West Valley League game.

 

The Chancellors improved to 20-2 overall, 7-1 in league play. Chatsworth is tied with Cleveland for first place in the WVL.

 

Senior Ryan Cooperstone pitched 4-1/3 innings and senior Andrew Klausmeier picked up a save with 2-2/3 innings of work.

 

The Chancellors' game Saturday against Narbonne has been moved to 2:30 p.m.

 

JV: The host Chancellors defeated Granada Hills, 8-2, behind Angel Rodriguez's complete-game effort. Brady Conlan had three hits, Kevin Siegel had two and Justin Davis hit a triple for Chatsworth.
