The host Chancellors JV, seeded No. 1 in the City Section playoffs, got off to a fast start with a 20-1 win over Wilson today in a first-round game.

 

Second baseman Brady Conlan had three hits and drove in two runs, left fielder Adam Baslow (right) had two hits and four runs batted in and pinch-hitter Ryan Escobar hit a two-run double.

 

Left-hander Brett Voets worked four innings to pick up the victory.

 

The defending champion Chancellors play a second-round game Thursday at home.
