 WASC- Western Association of Schools and Colleges

The ACS WASC/California Department of Education (CDE) is a joint accreditation process. ACS WASC accreditation is an ongoing six-year cycle of quality whereby Chatsworth demonstrates the capacity, commitment, and competence to support high-quality student learning and ongoing school improvement. Current Accreditation cycle is from 2022 to 2028 with a mid-cycle review during 2024-2025 school year.

Provides all collaborators meaningful information on school and district progress pertaining to college and career readiness indicators. California reports how districts, schools, and student groups are performing across state and local measures.  For state measures, performance is based on two factors: current year results and whether results improved from the previous year. G+STEAM Magnet Center Specific Reports

To increase the opportunities for learners the community advocates providing a quality STEAM College and Career Readiness Program; comprising of a vigorous K-12 to  career and post-secondary  programs for students. Chatsworth Charter High School G+STEAM Magnet Center fortifies foundational skills for 21st century learners, extends middle school magnet center learning, and strengthens collaboration of college and career preparedness programs.

amsArts and Music in Schools Program Funds: Prop 28
Proposition 28 is the states dedicated new funding for arts and music education to school districts to be used by all public schools across California. Besides paying for traditional visual and performing arts programs, funds will be used for instruction in computer graphics, animation, coding, and costume design.

Learning Recovery Emergency Block Grant (LREBG)
Interim Expenditure Reports are reports that Local Educational Agencies (LEAs) must submit to the California Department of Education (CDE) to detail how LREBG funds are being used. LREBG funds can be used for learning recovery initiatives that support academic learning recovery, as well as staff and student social and emotional well-being.
